For our ethnographic
research, I’m interested in young Asian immigrant groups in Nashville and how
they are assimilated or not assimilated to different lifestyle in United
States. I have known some really success while others still struggle in culture
differences. Being a member of the group I think it will give me a shorter and
easier way to approach with this group. To be more specific, I will do a
research on this population in school environment, working environment and
profession environment. This project will give me a deeper understanding and learning
toward this group. In addition, it will facilitate my future dream goal as
distributing in this community.
Also, with my passion in
medical field, especially for nursing, I’m also interested in topic about
nursing environment in night and day shift. I think this project would be worth
studying to help me be more familiar with nursing career in hospital
environment.
